Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need more information. I trust that you will have an amazing experience from initial welcome to final goodbye, and that you will come back next year.

Agreement/Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are an agreement between Me and You (and those you are including in your booking, see section on group bookings below). I strongly suggest that you check the information, including your name(s), course dates, balance due, and balance due date, included in our email or post about your booking. 

Group bookings 

Group bookings are welcome. The group leader/person making the group booking is responsible for: having the permission of all group members to make the booking on their behalf, and ensuring that all group members are aware of, accept and follow these Terms and Conditions. Group leaders and those making group bookings indemnify me against any claims arising out of their failure to ensure that group members accept and follow these Terms and Conditions.


One non-participant guest is welcome to accompany each participant on most of my courses and retreats, provided they are included in the initial booking, and that suitable two person rooms are available. Non-participants may be admitted after the initial booking at my discretion. See the description of your course/retreat for the possibility of, and price for, non-participants, what is included and what is not included. Non-participants will only be accepted when accompanying a participant.

Booking, Deposit, Payment and Cancellation

Reserving a place / non refundable deposit

To book a place on your chosen course or retreat please complete and submit the form on the course/retreat details page. To complete your booking you will also need to pay a non-refundable deposit of 25% of your course/retreat price. An invoice will be emailed to you. You can pay the deposit by debit or credit card. Details of all available payment methods will be given on the invoice. Your place is not reserved and no contract exists between you and I until I have received your non-refundable deposit. You are responsible for any bank or transaction charges incurred.

Full balance due

You must pay the full balance for your course/retreat by bank to bank transfer at the latest by the full balance due date. You are responsible for any bank or transaction charges incurred. For courses/retreats with start dates before 14 May 2023 the full balance due date is one calendar month before your start date.  For all other courses/retreats the full balance due date is 2 calendar months before the start date of your course/retreat.  The amount of your balance due will be shown on the invoice you receive at the time of booking. I can not accept balance payments by cheque, Western Union or Paypal. I reserve the right to cancel any booking for which the full balance has not been paid by the due date. For any booking so cancelled the non-refundable deposit and any part of the balance paid will be forfeit.

Late bookings 

Provided courses/retreats are not full, you can book a place on a course or retreat after the full balance due date. In this case you will be issued an invoice and have to make payment in full for your course or retreat at the time of booking by bank to bank transfer. When making a late booking your place is not reserved and no contract exists between you and me until we have received your payment in full. You are responsible for any bank or transaction charges incurred.

Cancellation by you

If you need to cancel your course/retreat, please make every effort to inform me as soon as possible.  In the event you do cancel then your non-refundable deposit will be lost. If you have paid your balance due and your notice of cancellation arrives before the balance due date you will be refunded your balance due.   If your notice of cancellation arrives after the due date and more than three weeks before the start date of your course/retreat, you will be refunded 50% of the balance due.  If your cancellation arrives within three weeks of the course/retreat start date then I am afraid there can be no refund.

No refunds for non attendance, late arrival or early departure

No refunds will be made due to your: failure to attend or complete the course/retreat; late arrival; or early departure.

Cancellation by me

It is highly unlikely that I will have to alter or cancel your course or retreat once confirmed but I reserve the right to do so. If I have to cancel or make a significant change to your course or retreat I will offer compensation or a full refund of monies you have paid to me, unless the alteration or cancellation is as a result of “Force Majeure”.

Force Majeure

I shall not accept responsibility for cancellation or effect on your course/retreat due to war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, actual or threatened terrorist action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, or similar events outside of my control.


In the event I make a refund you are responsible for paying any bank charges or fees on the refund. Note that refunds will be made by bank to bank transfer in euros and that I accept no responsibility for exchange rate fluctuations which are outside my control.

Instructor / Leader withdraws

If a course instructor/retreat leader has to withdraw due to illness, incapacity, or circumstances beyond our control, I will aim to replace them with an instructor/leader of equal standing.

Travel & Cancellation Insurance

I require that you have travel and cancellation insurance. I suggest that it includes at least the following: full medical expenses, personal baggage, personal accident, loss or damage to property, cancellation or curtailment, personal liability, legal expenses, emergency and personal and public liability. However note that this list is not exhaustive and I am not responsible for your not having insurance cover for items not included in the foregoing list. Nor am I responsible if you take out insurance for a risk that does not apply in your particular circumstances. You and you alone are responsible for deciding what insurance coverage you need. Do not delay taking out insurance as there may be a time limit from the time of making your booking.

Airport / Train station Transfers

Airport/train station transfers are not included in the price of your course/retreat. I am happy to help you arrange such transfers provided you request our assistance in sufficient time. Your contract for such transfer will be with the provider. I am not responsible in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong with your transfer.

Travel Regulations, Passport & Visas

It is your responsibility to be aware of any travel regulations that you may be subject to. If you are travelling from outside of the Schengen area you must have a valid passport and any necessary visas. You must be prepared to provide a passport or identity card on arrival for registration purposes.

Course / Retreat Prices, what is included and language

See the description of your course/retreat for the price, what is included, what is not included, and the language of instruction/support.

Price increase

Prices for courses and/or retreats could rise because of inflation, exchange rates, new government taxes or fees imposed by third parties (such as tourist taxes, city taxes, public or private transportation company price increases, or increased prices from any of our other providers, including accommodation). While I will do all I can to not change prices, I reserve the right to change course/retreat prices, and to add a surcharge on top of the price of courses/retreats already paid for but not yet started, when I deem it necessary.

Lost or delayed luggage 

I am not responsible for lost or delayed luggage. However I will assist you in the event that your luggage is lost or delayed where I can. I suggest, but do not require, that you use AirTags and/or Tile bluetooth trackers in your luggage in case of loss or delay.

Coupons, Discounts and Special Offers

Any discount offers are reserved to bookings made after the offer’s release. Existing bookings cannot and will not be changed for special offers. I reserve the right to change, decline or withdraw any of the offers without prior notice. A discount offer, coupon, or voucher cannot be combined with another discount offer, coupon, voucher, promotion or credit of any kind transferred from one course or retreat to another. Please note that participants or a participant and non-participant sharing a room cannot combine discounts, promotional offers, coupons or vouchers of any kind for the same room. Voucher, coupons or discounts necessitate a booking payment.

Vouchers or coupons are issued by email with a specific code. They are to be used within their allotted time of validity. Their value is lost once they expire.

I am not responsible for

I am not responsible for your loss of travel tickets, travel passes, passports, identity cards, or other documents and any subsequent losses you incur.

Your safety

It is your responsibility to assess risks and take responsibility for your own decisions. You are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and for protecting yourself from sun, wind, rain and insect bites.


I, my insurers, my suppliers and their insurers shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by you while on or in any way connected with the accommodation. No liability will be accepted for any loss, damage, expense, injury or inconvenience by reason of any defects in the structure of the accommodation, plumbing, electrical systems, gas, water or failures in the supply of utilities. The accommodation is only for the use of the persons specified during the booking process and is restricted to the maximum number of participants and non-participants specified.

Lower age limit

To make a booking to participate in, and to be a participant or non-participant on, our courses and/or retreats, you must be 18 or older. 


If you have limited mobility you are welcome on my courses and retreats. You must inform me of your mobility needs at the time of booking so that I can allocate suitable accommodation for you. In the event of there being limited accessible accommodation it will be made available on a first come first served basis. If you book on a course or retreat where all the suitable accommodation has already been allocated I will offer a full refund on your booking fee or the option to transfer to a later course or retreat.


For the comfort of all participants, smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors, during transportation nor during group activities. If you are a smoker you are completely free to take a smoke break at any time provided it is outdoors and away from the group.

Privacy agreement


Any use of cookies is subject to the Cookie Policy of the respective website that uses them.

Data controller

All data obtained by us is controlled by Linda Winter, Via XXVIII Aprile 30, 35030 Monselice (PD), Italia.

Details required

I ask for as few personal details as possible.  I need your name, address, email address and phone number in order to facilitate good communication in organising your course or retreat. For administrative purposes, I may need other details to issue a proper receipt. If you have any special needs or requests then I will also need details of these in order to deal with such needs or requests. The accommodation owner may need your passport details or identity card details to register you with the local authority. 

Use of details

I will use your details only for organising your course or retreat, necessary administration and for the Italian government. I will not disclose any of your personal details to anyone else without asking you first (unless it is required by law). I may also use your email address to keep you informed of courses and retreats (newsletter at most four times a year) for 5 years.  If you write a nice review, I may share it on the web.


If you wish to unsubscribe from the mailing list just ask, verbally, by phone or by email and I will remove your details. If you have already booked on one of our courses or retreats then I must keep some administrative information, and I may continue to send you non-marketing messages, such as messages related to any upcoming course or retreat you are booked on.

3rd parties

It may be that, in order to organise part of your course or retreat, I have to give some of your details to a third party.   This might be in organising an excursion, lessons or tours.  Only relevant information will be given.  If (hopefully not) a medical or other emergency arose, I would also have to provide your details to the relevant authorities.

Access to details

You can review the details that I have on you at any time.  I will require proof of your identity before disclosing these.

Method of treatment

The Data Controller processes the Personal Data of Users by adopting appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification or destruction of Personal Data. Processing is carried out using IT and / or telematic tools, with organisational methods and with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, the Data may have access to the Data subjects of the persons involved in the organisation of the site (administrative, commercial, marketing, legal, system administrators) or external subjects (as suppliers of third party technical services, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) also appointed, if necessary, Data Processors by the Data Controller.

Photos & videos

Everyone loves to take photos and we encourage you to do so. In addition, I do hope you use these as personal reminders of your course or retreat when you return home. It is often the case that participants ‘share’ their photos with fellow participants, which is lovely. However, a word about the use of social media: Please respect the privacy of other people here whether they are fellow participants, non-participants or local people. If you intend to put photos or videos on social media, you must ask and receive the permission of everyone who is in the photo or video in writing and signed by everyone in the photo/video. If I intend to use a photograph or video, I have taken of you, I will also ask for written and signed permission to do so.

Equipment and Materials

When equipment and/or materials are provided it is your responsibility to follow instructions on their safe use. I am not responsible if you fail to follow safe use instructions. Some materials, such as but not limited to acrylic and oil paints can cause damage to items such as furniture, walls, fabrics etc. If you are using or provided with such materials your course instructor or retreat leader will designate where you can use them. If you use such materials in contravention of such designation you will be responsible for cleaning or repair bills.

Food and drink

Most courses and retreats include breakfast or other meals or drinks. You are responsible for what you consume, and can or cannot consume while on our courses and retreats. You agree not to hold me responsible for allergic reactions, intolerance to any foods or drinks, or for any foods or drinks consumed which had any negative consequences on your health or well-being or resulting in death.

Damage and disruptive behaviour

I reserve the right to recover from you, the cost of repairs or replacements of any damage or loss that you cause. I also reserve the right to terminate your course or retreat if your behaviour is considered detrimental to other participants, the property owner, their other guests or any third party and no further contractual obligations from me to you will apply.

Propaganda / Selling / Religious teachings

You are strictly forbidden from: distributing propaganda, selling products or services, or promoting religious teachings to other participants on any of our courses or retreats.

Problems or complaints

If you have any problems or complaints report them immediately and also in writing by registered mail or pec within 28 days of the end of your course/retreat.

Before departure

Before you depart you must ensure that you have:

  • Paid me for any additional services that you have requested and I have provided for you;
  • Paid me or the property owners for any damage caused; and
  • Returned any room keys.


I accept no responsibility for any loss or damage you may suffer during the period of your course due to misadventure including, but not limited to, accident, illness or bodily injury or loss of equipment or belongings or from any other cause. I would stress the absolute necessity and my requirement for you and the other members of your party to effect appropriate insurance cover. I would advise you to obtain form E111 (for UK travellers) and EU health-card for European citizens which entitles you to certain free medical care.


The English language version of these Terms and Conditions shall be controlling in all respects and shall prevail in case of any inconsistencies with translated versions, if any. Any other language versions of this Agreement are provided for convenience only.


You agree to defend and indemnify me and all of my employees and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, suits, proceedings, investigations, losses, damages, fines, penalties, fees, expenses, costs and any other liabilities of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or related to: a. your breach of these Terms and Conditions or any documents referenced herein; b. your violation of any law, rule, regulation or guideline; c. your violation, infringement or misappropriation of the rights of a third party, including without limitation any rights of publicity or privacy; d. your Booking or use of any Product; or e. your negligence or willful misconduct.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

I may need to make changes to these Terms and Conditions. Changes can only be made by me. I reserve the right to amend or improve these Terms and Conditions without prior notification. When it is necessary for changes to be made, I will inform all persons booked on courses and/or retreats of any major changes in the case where these Terms and Conditions become less favourable to you. If you have a booking with me and you disagree with our new Terms and Conditions, you should contact me about this disagreement, so as to come to a mutual agreement.


The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of these Terms and Conditions, and each provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be severable and enforceable to the extent permitted by law.

Headings not part of agreement

Headings of sections and subsections of these Terms and Conditions are inserted for convenience of reference only; they constitute no part of these Terms and Conditions and are not to be considered in the construction or interpretation of these Terms and Conditions.

Governing law

This contract shall be governed by Italian law in every particular including information and interpretation and shall be deemed to have been made in Italy. Any proceedings arising out of or in connection with this contract may be brought in Padova court as competent jurisdiction in Italy. This contract and all Terms and Conditions apply to Linda Winter, Monselice – Italy.
